Aaoji

Aaoji is a 100% veg café & restaurant located next to a national highway. The name is deep rooted in the Indian tradition of treating guests like God and inviting them into our homes with respect. But the café's menu also offers global food items and has a modern touch of minimalism. So we tried to showcase that in the logo by going the Hinglish way. Also, we derived inspiration from the veg icon, which is a green dot inside a box, and incorporated that into our logo. The brand identity also includes graphical elements of food items to further portray the nature of the business.

  • Introduction:

    Aaoji is a 100% Vegetarian café. It is the first outlet near NH-9, Nainital Road, Dhanora Village, Bilaspur, Uttar Pradesh. “Aaoji” operates with high sophistication. The outlet gives an elegant, modern, and classic vibe.

    The name “Aaoji” finds its roots in the Indian tradition of treating guests like God and inviting them into our homes with respect. But the café's menu also offers global food items and has a modern touch of minimalism.

    The challenge at hand: We were challenged to create a brand identity in such a way that the restaurant resembled to the highway style of presentation and at the same time had the sophistication of a metro city restaurant. So, we tried to showcase that in the logo by going the Hinglish way. It is a vegetarian restaurant, and we wanted to visualise this idea too.

    Brand identity:

    “Aaoji” challenged us to create a brand that has a PAN India presence. The requirement was to make it look classic at the same time. we also had to use typography in a way that fits that looks cool with the “HINDI” script. The brand identity also includes graphical elements of food items to further portray the nature of the business. The letters are elegantly inside a white frame with a green dot symbolizing that the restaurant is “vegetarian.”

    It was a collaborative project between the “Venacava team and the Aaoji team. We got to understand them unique branding needs and worked towards the execution with targeted strategies.
